Day 2 (whoopee)

Okay, so this stuff looks pretty easy but it can be deceiving. I got an e-mail telling me I had 2 more sites set up.

ShopItOnline (Amazon)

and

My USA Alarm (ADT)

Not too bad, but how do I market this? Well, I thought that the website would be enough, but know I find out that I need to register a domain name to point people to my site. They suggested using godaddy.com.
So I have five sites total, how do I get people to my websites? Well, I have to say first off, I am against facebook, and twitter (yeah, I'm paranoid that way). But I went ahead and opened up a facebook account....and a twitter account...(oh man...)to find other people doing what I'm doing and also to get my name out there. So that's step 2 I guess. I'll have to look into registering a domain (why I need one, I have no idea since I already have websites. Oh, well. Here's the good deal website of the day:

Woot.com

Let me know what you think, post a comment, suggestion, anything.
J, out.

My first day as a Marketer (yay)

Hi I'm Jim and today, I became an internet marketer. Ok, I know, I know, most of these things are scams, but I ran across a couple of companies that say they are legit, and I believed them (whether good or bad). So my first sites are up they tell me, here they are, take a look:

DishNationOnline (for DIRECTV)

Nationwide Dish (for Dish Network

or

My Dish Online (for a comparison)

Check them out. They say that I can earn money through affiliate Marketing. Who know's? And they say they will help me out. I am 30 years old, and like so many other people, looking to make income in this wretched economy. So, stay posted and I'll pass everything I learn on to you about marketing. (Creating a blog is the first step.) Feel free to post replies. Has anyone else done this? I'd like to know what works and what doesn't. Maybe we can get a good thing going here.
